You do not have to live anywhere near us. Members join from across eastern Australia and overseas, and everything happens online.

What it costs, what it takes

Membership at a glance

Annual dues: $275Covers Rotary International and district dues. A monthly instalment option is being introduced
Meetings a month: 2Second and fourth Thursday, 7:00pm, about an hour
Travel required: NoneMeetings are on Microsoft Teams, so there is no venue or meal cost
Dinner fee: $5Voluntary

The process

Come to a meeting first. There is no obligation, and it is the only sensible way to work out whether a club suits you.

Tell the secretary you would like to visit. We send you the Teams link.
Visit a meeting

Or a few. Ask anything. Nobody will chase you afterwards.
A member proposes you

If you would like to join, a member puts your name to the board.
Seven-day notice

Once the board approves, members are notified and there is a seven-day period for any objection.
Induction

You are inducted at a general meeting, and that is it.

Who this suits

People who travel

A weekly dinner in one town does not work if you are rarely in it. Ours works from a hotel room, a farm, or another country.
People who care for someone

An hour on a Thursday evening at home is possible when leaving the house for an evening is not.
People a long way out

Members join from towns with no club of their own, and from towns where the nearest one is an hour’s drive each way.
